Update on life 5-10-14

Lost 6.6 lb. I like the Trim Healthy Mama (THM) way of eating. 230 lb. now. It about how you eat: no large amount of fats and carbs in the same meal. I also cut wheat from my diet.

Off mine blood pressure medicine Dr. approved.

Is it because I getting a better night sleep (sleep apnea can raised blood pressure).

Drinking green tea with stevia both can lower blood pressure.


Eating healthier, more berries.

Wool Applique


This is what I want to start. I did a wool appliqué project several years ago as a seminar  class. I like the method.

Below is some patterns I bought soon after I took the class I just never got started.


As you see I like pattern with a months and seasons.

Current projects


Finally did some stitching been awhile since I felt like doing detail work.




I gave in a bought this project Shepard's Fold It have several small projects that goes alone with it all goes in this box It did not goes in mine stash it in an installment plan 5 more parts. Had not work on linen for a few years it was hard to get started.




Easy needlepoint project using silk and ivory done in basket weave. I work on this when I want something require little thinking.



Bead it forward project this is for breast cancer I am adapting a pattern bought from Thread a Bead. I doing it in peyote stitch. There is four more square to be stitch.
