hummingbirds

The hummingbirds are back again. There was a lot when they first came in the spring but disappeared when the wild honeysuckles was in bloom. On Tuesday we put 3 cups of sugar water in feeder at 4 pm and Wed. at 8:30 pm it was empty. The week before they did not drink more than two cups the whole week. It is hard to get up from the kitchen table because they are fun to watch. Also you can just stand at the window and watch them you are so close you can tell some of them apart. This is the only way to have a feeder one you can watch up close. I think I just saw ten birds but there is only 8 places to eat.
