It Snowed

Over 10 inches of snow been a long time we had this much snow.

Harvest over. Over 2.50 inches of rain. Sun was out just for a short time.

A wet and windy day. The field is planted in soybeans. Soybeans does not like to come up in the mud. Had 4.5 inches of rain over the past two days.

Should had took a picture sooner but forget that field corn should tassel soon.

Beans are cut and they was cut when the ground was soft. So the combine made ruts. This had to be done sometimes. The beans was ready to be cut. Most of the field will look like this or worst. This is a wet fall.

It been awhile since I took a picture off the front porch. Fall is hear soybeans are about ready to harvest. There is weeds in the field.

 It rain again as you can see but the ground was work. There is some field that have corn growing need to take the camera with me next time to take pictures.

When I first took a picture from the front porch in March, I thought the field was going to be work and planted within the next few weeks. I thought I would give those who don't live near a farming area an idea what farm life is about. You are getting a view of what a wet spring is like. There been to much rain as you can see and more is on the way. The water is gone now but if rain again back it come.

Bin up

The bin is all the way up, I was going to show it half way up but...

When putting a bin up  the top is put together first then the rings (sides) is added by raising the top by jacks. There are several rings.
