Although I actually stitched the leaves a few weeks ago, I have only just added them to my blog. Like you, I found that they worked up much quicker than the flowers. I did all of mine in a flat silk foundation layer and found the process very relaxing.
I have never seen the leaves on Camellias done in novel effects and am interested what you do with each leaf.
Another leaf. Using tissue to protect what I have stitch. Leaves goes fast unlike flower petals.
